9 Days

Day 01 :
arrival in guwahati – drive to nameri (220 km)
  • Welcome to Guwahati! Once everyone has arrived at the pickup point, you’ll meet your trip captain and fellow travelers.
  • We’ll then start our journey to Nameri National Park, located at the base of the Eastern Himalayas. It’s a peaceful place full of nature and home to animals like elephants, tigers, and hornbills.
  • After reaching, we’ll check into our stay surrounded by greenery.
  • Evening is free to relax.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Nameri.

    Note: Check-in time is 1:00 PM.
Day 02 :
river rafting – drive to dirang (160 km)
  • We’ll start the day with an exciting river rafting session in the Jia-Bhoreli River.(River Rafting is subject to whether)
  • After breakfast and the activity, we’ll leave for Dirang, a beautiful hill town with great mountain views and a cool climate.
  • After reaching, check into the hotel and rest.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Dirang.
Day 03 :
drive to tawang via sela pass (125 km)
  • After breakfast, we drive to Tawang, a lovely town at 10,000 ft altitude. On the way, we’ll stop at the Sela Pass and Sela Lake – both surrounded by snow.
  • We’ll also visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial.
  • After reaching Tawang, check into your hotel.
  • Evening is free to relax or visit local cafes.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 04 :
bum la pass excursion – back to tawang
  • Today, we’ll leave early to visit the famous Bum La Pass near the Indo-China border, located at 15,200 ft. The views are snowy and breathtaking.
  • We’ll also visit P.T. Tso Lake and Madhuri Lake (also called Shonga-tser Lake), which was featured in a Bollywood movie.
  • Return to Tawang by evening.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 05 :
tawang local sightseeing
  • After breakfast, we’ll explore some beautiful places in Tawang:
  • Tawang Monastery – the largest in India
  • Urgelling Monastery – one of the oldest, and birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama
  • Giant Buddha Statue – 30 ft tall overlooking Tawang
  • Chakzam Bridge – a 600-year-old hanging bridge
  • Tawang War Memorial – honoring Indian soldiers
  • In the evening, we’ll watch a light and sound show at the memorial.
    Dinner and overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 06 :
drive to bomdila (166 km)
  • After breakfast, we head to Bomdila, a peaceful town with amazing mountain views.
  • On the way, we’ll stop at Jung Falls, a waterfall made famous in the movie Koyla.
  • Reach Bomdila and check into your hotel.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Bomdila.
Day 07 :
drive to kaziranga (180 km)
  • After breakfast, we travel to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Assam.
  • It’s home to the famous One-Horned Rhino, along with elephants, wild buffaloes, and many birds.
  • Check in and relax amidst nature.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 08 :
jungle safari – drive to guwahati (200 km)
  • Early morning, we’ll go on a Jungle Safari to spot wildlife in Kaziranga.
  • After breakfast, we’ll leave for Guwahati.
  • On arrival, check into the hotel and relax.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 09 :
departure from guwahati
  • After breakfast, we’ll check out and say goodbye with wonderful memories from the Eastern Himalayas.
    Trip Ends.
